The coronation of a king is a grand and majestic ceremony that marks the beginning of a new era of leadership. The coronation of a king is a long-standing tradition that dates back to ancient times. It was a symbolic ceremony representing the power transfer between rulers. The coronation was typically held in a public place, such as a cathedral or a town square, and attended by the nobility, clergy, and commoners.

The new king would be anointed with holy oil during the ceremony, symbolising his divine right to rule. He would also receive a crown, sceptre, and orb, symbolising his power and authority.
